The East Rutherford Sewer Department maintains all sanitary sewer lines, as well as the borough's storm drain system.  In order to keep the borough "flowing," these lines are constantly scheduled for routine cleanings and evaluations.

In addition to continuing with routine line cleanings and inspections, our department is aggressively making sure that the borough meets all standards and regulations set forth by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Water Quality.  To learn more about the regulations set forth by the Division of Water Quality click here.
