All Recyclables must be placed curbside no earlier than 6pm the day prior to collection and no later than 7am the day of collection

• All recyclables such as newspapers, magazines, junk mail, telephone books, office paper, aluminum, tin cans and glass bottles, plastic containers, cardboard and chipboard can now be COMINGLED.  These items can be mixed together in a receptacle labeled for "RECYCLING ONLY".  Stickers for your designated receptacles can be obtained free of charge at the DPW office located at 300 Hackensack Street.
  
• NO PLASTIC BAGS - Do not place recyclables in plastic bags or dispose of plastic bags in with your recycling.
  
• Used Motor Oil - Must be brought to BCUA Collection Points (see calendar for dates and locations)
  
• Automobile batteries - Must be dropped off at the Department of Public Works facility at 300 Hackensack Street.
  
• All Metals - Must be separated from household trash and placed curbside on trash pickup day.
  
• Unpainted and untreated wood, no longer than 6 feet in length - Must be separated from trash and placed curbside on Trash Pickup Day.  Placed painted and treated wood in garbage.
  
• Grass Clippings - Must be placed in biodegradable bags only.  Do not mix with rocks, dirt, or branches.
  
• Leaves - Must be placed in biodegradable bags only.  Do not mix with rocks, dirt, or branches.
• Corrugated Cardboard and chipboard should be flattened and may be tied in bundles or placed in containers with other recyclables for curbside pickup on your assigned recycling collection day.
  
• Electronics will be picked up on Wednesdays, or may be delivered to the BCUA collection points (see calendar for dates and locations).
  
• Brush and Tree Branches can be placed at the curb, tied, no longer than 6 feet on your heavy trash day for recycling.
