Patrol Division

About Us

The largest division within the department, the Patrol Division staffs the Dispatch Center and provides police services to our residents and visitors 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Patrol Division is the backbone of our department. Currently staffed with 24 highly trained police officers and supervisors assigned to four 12 hour tours. These officers conduct proactive patrols of the community while responding to various calls for service, enforce traffic safety and conduct security and property checks. These officers are usually first on scene for all calls for service, including fire and medical emergencies. Officers also when requested provide assistance to surrounding local, county and state law enforcement agencies through what is commonly referred to as "Mutual Aid".
